Nodeci?

It looks like one half of Jodeci is attempting to spark a comeback to the music scene. My only question is... why the name "Nodeci"?

DeVante (Donald DeGrate, Jr.) and Mr. Dalvin (Dalvin DeGrate) are tackling this project without K-Ci & Jo-Jo. Although I do appreciate the raw lyrical content for all you summer-baby-making people... did they really have to remake the chorus to Feenin' ("I Got This")?

"The M64 Collabo" - Ragen Fykes + Ohmega Watts

Producer/emcee Ohmega Watts has joined forces with vocalist Ragen Fykes, and the result is "The M64 Collabo". Their first single "Rhythm Of The Drum" is something very relaxed but yet decidedly Hip Hop. "Sweetest Girl" Acoustic:

Wyclef Jean, Niia & Jerry Wonder come together at the Platinum Sound Studio in NYC for an epic acoustic session of this song. This video is pretty old, but that doesn't take anything away from it. Wyclef Jean is such a versatile artist whose talent seems to be forgotten about when speaking about true musical talent greats of our lifetime. I'm actually going to put together a full post to dedicate to Wyclef's talent in the very near future. In the meantime here's a track that I've always enjoyed that shows how pliant he is no matter who he's featured with... whether it be The Fugees or Carlos Santana. Clef actually helped write this song and I just love how simple and raw the lyrics to it truly are. Jerry Wonder Duplessis also does a good job on the production of the track as well... Today the public memorial service for The King of Pop or in Trey Songs words, The King of Music took place at the LA Staples Center.

Both these videos are very touching and had everyone in attendance in tears. It's honestly crazy how one man had such a drastic effect on millions maybe even billions of people across the globe. I said it before and I'll say it again; there will never be any entertainer or musician that will ever even come close to duplicating what Michael achieved throughout his career and life. This man was truly special; he was blessed with a special calling from above, equipped with an abundance of gifts and talents like no other to bring the world together in a very unique way.
