Recently I came across an album I have been scouring various music blogs to find. Many critics herald Elohim Marino's album Son of Hip Hop as one of the best underground albums released in a while, and after taking a close listen, I would tend to agree. Although some (including myself) haven't experienced much of the subject matter covered on the album, the vivid imagery and heartfelt lyrics make it easy for any listener to appreciate the vantage point from which Elohim delivers his stories from. I would encourage that you also take a listen and share your opinion of the album. It can be found here.
