Trevor Ariza
Some might see it as "just" 16pts, but I see it as all the right shots at the right times (unlike a fading Fisher). Combine this with a clutch steal in game 1 and another one in tonight's game and you get the X-Factor. (Please leave him in the clutch next time Phil, I didn't understand the decision to sub-in Luke last game)In other news, Lakers center Bynum and coach Phil Jackson disagree/when scrubs get ahead of themselves: "Andrew Bynum wants to play more minutes, and Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson has just the solution: Play better defense." (quoted from the Denver Associated Press)
Just have pride on D young fella before asking a seasoned veteran coach for more time on the court. At least he didn't get ahead of himself and bring his negativity to the game like Houston guard, Von Wafer.
And you know I couldn't end the post off without mentioning Mamba's numbers: 41, 6 and 5 on 12-24 from the field and 15-17 from the line. Just a few words of advice to the Denver faithful, don't point fingers in Kobe's face or chant profanities to him while he's at the line... his favourite shots are accompanied by the comforting silence of the crowd on the road.
Didn't work the last time and it won't work this time either.
